My name is Melissa Parmenter but I would rather you call me Missy. I am married to the love of the my life, Jay. We met while attending ministry training (then called Master’s Commission) in Atlanta, GA. We are raising two adorable miracles that have come into our home through love not through birth.

So why are we here? Does the world really need one more mommy blogger? The truth is I just needed a place to share my thoughts with the hopes that it can inspire others. Call it cheap therapy. 🙂 I have found trying to be light in this very dark world can get complicated and confusing. Trying to love when your surround by hate and selfishness can seem implausible. I have also found that isolation is the best tact for taking people out. So let’s journey together and share our stories. Let’s find friendship and hope in our times of darkness and despair. Only God knows where this blog will go but I hope to share some of the humor of my life as well as some of the challenges and maybe make a few new friends along the way.
